ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Geraldine ("Geri") is an Australian artitst from Sydney who has a deep respect for all animals and the natural world. Ever since she was a child she has loved drawing animals and has participated in art exhibitions since 1988 both in Sydney and USA (including New York City). Geraldine has won awards at international juried art contests and in 2004 for she gained signature membership into the Artists For Conservation - host to elite wildlife and nature artists from around the world. Throughout her career she has donated many of her works to wildlife protection campaigns.

WHAT MAKES YOUR PORTRAITS STAND OUT FROM THE REST?
Your pet portrait is a one of kind, created with patience and skill ensuring a wonderful keepsake to cherish for a lifetime, with that "little bit extra" that makes it so special. Particular attention is given to the eyes where the essence of each pet shines. Geri also draws portraits of pets that have passed over. A portrait is a beautiful and unique way of remembering them.
DO YOU HAVE GIFT VOUCHERS?
Yes. For a truly unique birthday, anniversary or christmas gift that you won't find anywhere else gift vouchers are available with space to write your own words.
HOW ARE THE PORTRAITS DRAWN AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE I RECEIVE MY PORTRAIT?
The portraits are drawn in graphite pencil (black and white ) or mixed media that includes watercolour, coloured pencil, pastel and gouache. Only the highest quality materials and paper are used and after completion the portrait is sprayed with artists fixative to prevent smudging. Portraits take between 2 days to 4 weeks to complete depending on the media, size, complexity and the amount of orders. Consideration is given to urgent orders yet it is best to order in plenty of time to avoid disappointment , especially approaching christmas time. (If you've 'missed the boat' for christmas, gift vouchers are a great alternative). You are kept up to date on the progress of your portrait via email.
WHAT ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHING MY PET?
All you need to do is send me a photo('s), not photocopies,of your pet that will be returned on completion of your portrait. Ensure that plenty of your pet's face is showing in the photo with good lighting and if possible without "red eye". Alternatively you may email pictures of your pet at a minimum of 300 dpi. The more detail I can obtain from a photo ensures more of your pets personality in the finished drawing. If you live locally I can photograph your pet for you at no extra cost.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT TERMS?
Payment terms are payment in full after the portrait is finished. I will email you the completed portrait to ensure your complete satisfaction. Once payment is deposited your portrait is posted immediately. I accept payment via online bank deposit, cheque or cash if you are collecting your portrait in person. I can email bank deposit details as soon as the portait is finsihed.

Graphite pencil portraits:
Small in pencil: $125 Add $40 for extra pet.
Medium in pencil: $195 Add $45for extra pet
Full colour portraits in mixed media:
Small in mixed media: $225 Add $50 for extra pet
Medium in mixed media: $495 Add $55 for extra pet.
HOW MUCH IS POSTAGE AND HANDLING?
Postage and handling: Add $10 for Australian orders
International orders are at the same postage price for a limited time only. Please allow up to one week for delivery.
Artwork is posted flat between stiff cardboard and bubblewrapped for extra protection.
